About me:
My most recent work are illustrations for a book of poetry, a children's story about adoption and a book of reflective stories about Christmas. I prefer to work on paper rather than in the computer, but I am not a stranger to mixing techniques. My favourite tools are rapidographs and watercolour paints, and I always carry a sketchbook and a still camera around.
Though illustration is the direction I'm traveling in right now, the master's degree I obtained from the Polish National Film School is in Animation. I've worked on several film sets in multi-tasking jobs that defy all attempt at description, most notably on the 2008 Oscar Winner "Peter and the Wolf".
I'm Polish, but travel so much I consider myself a citizen of the world, cheesy as it may sound. I've lived in two countries, visited twenty one (three of which no longer exist), speak four languages fluently and am trying to learn more. In my (so far rather short) life I've been a photographer, a camera assistant, an animator, a workshop coordinator, a group guide, a book illustrator, a film director and scriptwriter, a translator, a copywriter, and a deckhand on a square-rigged wooden tall ship. My future goal is to herd sheep.
